CORE & MOULD BINDERS :
CEREAL BINDER

AFCITRIN

AFCITRIN is a range of a Tapioca  based Cereal  binder to substitute yellow dextrine powder. AFCITRIN produces effectively and economically high baked strength and good green strength that enables to save time and money in core and mould production.

AFCITRIN when bonded with Silica sand hardens at room temperature giving excellent strength, and finish, good enough to be used as facing sand mixture.

PHYSICAL STATE
  • AFCITRIN is available in POWDER form.

RECOMMENDED APPLICATION PROCEDURE
  • Put the dry sand in the mixer.
  • Add the appropriate quantity of water.
  • Run the mixer until water is well distributed.

  • Recommended addition percent % of AFCITRIN is 1% to 2% depending upon the strength requirements.

FUNCTIONS & ADVANTAGES

Consistent Advantages:
  • Highly soluble in Water, AFCITRIN easily migrates with moisture to the outer surface of the mould and builds a smooth hard exterior surface.
  • This hard surface exterior resists metal penetration and results in a smoother, cleaner, and better casting finish.
  • It efficiently produces additional dry strength and high green strength.
For excellent casting finish use our water based-AFCICOAT or Solvent based-AFCIMOL range of coatings.

PRECAUTIONS
  • Soon after use Close the bag tightly to avoid external contamination.
