| AFCISET
is a range of hardeners for Sodium Silicate binders for consistent uniform
and higher strength cores & moulds. CO2 gassing can be eliminated and
hence defects due to Silicate- CO2 like non-uniform strength, breaks;
friable mould/ cores can be eliminated. |

AFCISET
61 is a Powder catalyst for hardening that reacts exothermically with
Sodium Silicate to form Silica gel that results in bonding of the Silica
grains.
AFCISET 62 / 63 / 64 is a range of organic Ester hardener in Liquid
form with varied setting rate. |

- Add dry Silica
sand to the mulleror mixer.
- Then add AFCISET
and AFCIBREAK and mix for 2 minutes.
- Add Sodium Silicate
and mix for 2 minutes.
- For Optimum
results use good quality sand of AFS No.50-60 with clay content 1%
max and carbonates 1% max.

good resistance to moisture.

uniform build-up with faster rate of cure.

cores & moulds & good storage stability without surface deterioration.
- Exceptionally
smooth and excellent surface finish of the casting with no sand fusion.
Use Water
based AFCICOAT or Solvent based AFCIMOL
for excellent casting surface finish. |

| PRECAUTIONS |
- Soon after use
Close the Container tightly to avoid atmospheric exposure and external
contamination. Keep away mould and cores undergoing hardening reaction
from flames.

| NOTE |
Recommended
AFCISIL range of Sodium silicate binder and AFCIBREAK (optional)
range of collapsible agent for optimum results with AFCISET.
Generally Solvent/ Spirit based coating like AFCIMOL range is recommended
for coating application in Silicate process. |
