71/72 is a range of an self-setting medium viscosity Inorganic adhesive

viscosity Resin based adhesive for hot to hot faces of Moulds and Cores

AFCIFIX
71/ 72/ 73 develops a bond of moderate strength when used for jointing
purposes suitable for CO2 process, No Bake self hardened sand jobs, and
for general purpose in core shop for jointing broken cores and moulds.
AFCIFIX 81 is a quick air drying Sealing compound used to seal
core joints and core/ mould imperfections, reducing excessive cleaning
time of finished castings & to prevent run-outs, flashes etc. |

| RECOMMENDED
APPLICATION PROCEDURE |
- AFCIFIX
should be applied with a brush or knife to each joint face and the
two joints pressed firmly together.
- To speed up
jointing/sealing and to get a good joint /seal allow the two joint
faces to become tacky before pressing the two faces together.
- Wherever possible
the joints may be put together by weights or clamps, without damaging
the cores.

or Solvent based AFCIMOL range of coatings for excellent casting

| PRECAUTIONS |
- AFCIFIX
should not be applied to hot core or mould surfaces as it will get
dried rapidly and loose its adhesive/ sealing properties.
- Close the lid/
cap of the container soon after use to avoid drying on exposure &
external contamination.
