• The quantity of AFCIHOLD Depends on the viscosity and coagulative nature of the melt. However 1 to 2 kgs per ton of melt in ladle furnace is recommended. Large quantities can be used for additional benefits of Sulphur and Phosphorus reduction.
  
  AFCIBOND is used in High Pressure moulding line as well as Air Impulse moulding line. Procedure for AFCIBOND usage is as follows :
  
  
• Put the dry sand in the muller.
• Add 3% to 6% of AFCIBOND by the weight of sand in muller and mix it well for about one minute.
• Then add other additives like AFCICOAL powder etc and mix well.
• Add the required amount of water as per compactibility and mix the above mixture for 6 to 10 minutes to achieve good Compression Strength.

AFCICARB is a range Coconut Shell charcoal for Carbon Pick-Up in S.G. Iron that improves the quality of metal & structural property. It is crushed to various sizes as per requirement. It may be added either to the bottom of ladle before filling with molten metal or to the surface of the bath after the ladles is filled or to the bottom of the ladle after a heel of molten metal has been poured. Also it may be added directly in the furnace. The quantity of AFCICARB to be used is generally 0.5 % to 2.0 % but depends on the extent of carbon to be picked up.

AFCIDISULF is a range of a desulphurizing agent for S.G. Iron castings added for the disulphurization of molten metal that reduces the Sulphur content, & increases the fluidity. Magnesium is added in S.G.Iron casting that imparts spheroidal structure, since Magnesium has high affinity for sulphur forming fluid slag. Hence therefore it is very necessary to remove sulphur by using AFCIDISULF.

It may be added either to the bottom of ladle before filling with molten metal or to the surface of the bath after the ladles is filled or to the bottom of the ladle after a heel of molten metal has been poured. The quantity of AFCIDISULF to be used is generally0.2 % to 2.0 % but depends on the extent of sulphur to be removed and the temperature of the melt. Higher the temperature, reaction is more fast and efficient. The churning action of the falling stream and the agitation of the molten metal ensures the intimate contact with AFCIDISULF.

AFCIDEOX is a range of a Deoxidizing agent for Cast Iron castings that deoxidizes and removes the unwanted gases from the molten metal & improves the quality of metal obtained. It is added in continuous induction furnace and in molten metal pouring ladles, prior to pouring in the mould that cleanses the molten metal by removing oxides and other inclusions.

AFCICULANT is a range of an inoculants for efficient ladle inoculation of Cast Iron available in various grades suitable for different types of Castings based on metal composition, section thickness, melting temperature grades of Cast Iron, ladle size, and fade resistance requirement etc. Effectiveness of inoculated Iron for its desired purpose is tested by chill/ wedge test from which the degree of chill can be decided and accordingly inoculation process can be carried out. AFCICULANT is to be added to flowing stream of clean molten metal from furnace to ladle slowly and as late as possible. It should be added accurately, since over inoculation or under inoculation might cause problems like shrinkage, porosity, low strength and machining property. Generally 0.2% to 0.4% of the melt in ladle to be added. .

• It forms an Intumescent-Insulating layer on the top of ladle which significantly reduces the radiant loss of heat that may be maintained until pouring time and hence therefore acts as an insulating barrier.
• It also reduces Sulphur content and also prevents reentry into the bath when added to ladle by holding them in the slag.
• It does not produce objectionable smoke or noxious fumes, hence non-polluting.

• It is a superior quality Sodium based Bentonite.
• It gives an exceptionally high Green and Dry strength.
• It imparts excellent flowability with optimum tempering water.
• High thermal stability & lower rejects, develops high cohesive strength, & maintains mould strength in pressure casting.

• Store the products in dry place and soon after use Close the Container tightly to avoid external contamination like moisture etc.
• Above products may evolve certain amount of fume, but they are non-toxic at normal concentration and will not cause any problem in proper ventilated foundry.
• Always maintain plenty of water & First-Aid box for any cause of Irritation like harmful if inhaled, swallowed etc or otherwise contact Physician immediately.
